Career Exploration Activities

Roosevelt counselors work closely with the Wayne RESA county career counselor support students’ career readiness and post-secondary goals. By facilitating early awareness sessions and working with high school students, both individually and in small groups, the career counselor help students develop post-secondary plans based on their needs, interests, and abilities.

All students complete an Educational Development Plan (EDP) beginning in middle school. The EDP allows students to begin exploring career paths related to their interests. Counselors review the EDP twice each year throughout high school.
