Infant and Toddler Program
Wyandotte's Infant and Toddler Program provides high quality, early learning opportunities for children from 2 weeks to 3 years old. Enrollment is open to Wyandotte Public Schools staff, Wyandotte residents, and families from the surrounding area.
What will my child learn?
All classrooms implement the research-based HighScope Curriculum, while providing families the flexibility of choosing their own schedule. Some highlights of the program include:
- Children engage in daily age appropriate learning exploration in:
- Social/Emotional, Literacy
- Mathematics
- Social Studies
- Science
- Creative Development & Physical Development.
Program Information
- Classrooms maintain a staffing ratio of at least one staff member for every four children.
- Care is available Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm.
- Families choose what days their child attends (2 day per week minimum is required).
- Tuition is $40 per day for up to 8 hours of care.
- Additional care beyond 8 hours is available for an additional $5 per day fee.
Enrollment Information
The enrollment process varies based on the type of enrollment:
- Currently enrolled families are invited to re-enroll in the spring preceding the upcoming school year.
- New families who are Wyandotte residents can begin picking up enrollment packets in early March.
- New families who live out of district can begin picking up enrollment packets on in early April. We recommend calling our office about classroom availability prior to picking up a packet.
Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. Your child's spot is not held until we receive the completed enrollment packet and a non-refundable registration fee. If space is not available at the time you come to enroll, your child can be placed on our waitlist. If a spot becomes available, we will contact you. Please be advised that our waitlist does not carry over year to year.
