Meetings and Workshops

All regular and special meetings, along with work sessions, are open to the public. Visitors shall be provided an opportunity to address the members of the Board of Education as set forth in the agenda.

When deemed necessary, the Board of Education may call a Meeting to conduct the business of the School District. Such Meetings are open to the public and are announced on this website and posted for public viewing at the Administration Building, 639 Oak Street.

In the event the Board of Education determines it necessary to call a Special Closed Meeting to conduct confidential matters, such Meetings will be closed to the public. All such Closed Meetings shall be in compliance with rules and regulations as set forth in Act 267, of P.A., 1976.

For all meeting locations the School District provides reasonable accommodations under the Americans With Disabilities Act.

This notice of scheduled meetings as herein set forth is posted and filed as a matter of public record by the Secretary to the Wyandotte Board of Education. If you have any questions please call 734-759-6002.


Upcoming Meeting and Workshop Dates

Follow the steps below to subscribe on your Apple Calendar.

  1. Press down on the link below and select Copy Link.
  2. Open your Apple Calendar.
  3. At the bottom of the Calendar, tap the Calendars option.
  4. A list of your current Calendars will appear. At the bottom left, tap Add Calendar.
  5. In the pop-up, tap Add Subscription Calendar.
  6. Paste the link you copied in step 1. To paste, tap the empty field below Subscription URL and select paste.
  7. Tap Subscribe. It may take a few minutes to sync the calendar events.

By subscribing to the calendar any future updates will automatically be synced to your Apple Calendar.

Follow the steps below to view and/or print the calendar from your computer.

  1. Open the following link. 
  2. In the upper right you will see options to change the view between Schedule (a list of dates, Month, and Week. Select the view you prefer.
  3. If you would like to print the upcoming meeting dates, click the printer icon in the upper right.

Meetings are held at Wyandotte City Hall, 3rd Floor Council Chambers., 3200 Biddle Avenue

Work Sessions are held at the Board of Education Office, 639 Oak St.

Locations may change due to unique circumstances, such as space requirements, inclement weather, or unforeseen events. Please check the Board of Education calendar for up to times and locations.

School Board Meetings and Work Sessions held at City Hall, are live on Wyandotte Cable Television, Channel 16, and then rebroadcast on the Education Channel 16, on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 2 pm and Sundays at 12 noon  and 7 pm. Meetings are usually available to view online 24 hours after the start time of the meeting.
