Student Chromebook Damage and Loss Fees

Chromebooks are valuable learning tools, but being constantly on the move with students can lead to wear and tear. Some damage may be malicious and intentional while some damages may be due to accidentally mishandling. Technology Services will work in partnership with building administrators to determine and assess appropriate fees for damages/loss. To maintain consistency with students, the below fee schedule will be used to determine the fee to be issued for a specific repair. Fees will be issued upon the first offense and will cost the same for repeat offenses. Fees are currently collected through MyPaymentsPlus and parents and/or guardians will receive an email if a fee is determined to be the family's responsibility.
