Early On for Ages Birth to 3

Early On Michigan offers early intervention services for infants and toddlers, birth to three years of age, with developmental delays and/or disabilities, and their families. To submit a referral for Early On Special Education services a parent must complete Wayne RESA's Child and Student Education Referral Form.

Child Find for Ages 3 to 26

Child Find is a legal requirement that schools find all children who have disabilities and who may be entitled to special education services. For more information, please visit the Michigan Alliance for Families Child Find resource.

If you suspect that your child may need special education services, please call the Special Education Department at 734-759-6015. Wyandotte offers evaluations to children suspected of having a disability at no charge. Following the evaluation, eligible children are referred to appropriate programs and services.
