Special Education

Primary functions of the Special Education Department include:

• Adhere to compliance requirements of the county, federal and state levels.
• Provide Specially Designed Instruction (SDI), programs and services to our students that qualify for special education.
• Support the District's schools in delivering special education services to eligible students.

These prevention, intervention, and support programs services available for students at all levels. The Special Education department follows state and federal laws requiring general education accommodations and/or appropriate special education for eligible students.
